roro skip hire bristol

25 Oct 2011

What’s a roro? Well dear reader, let me explain. Say, you were looking for roro skip hire, Bristol – you’d be after one of those really big skips you see in building sites and carparks. They’re normally around 20-25 feet long, and can vary in depth depending on what size you need.

The two most common roros (called, by the way, after the way they roll on and roll off the vehicle) are 20 yarders and 40 yarders. 20 yarders are used to carry heavy inert waste like soil, rubble and concrete, while the 40 yard skip is used for lighter waste – glass, timber and metal amongst other things.

So if you have over 10 tonnes of waste – may we recommend our RORO Skips – very cost effective, and very big!
