TopSkips are a nationwide company offering exceptional skip hire in Newport and we were first established in 2003. Since then we’ve had over 100,000 satisfied customers. Here’s what we have to offer:
Newport is a cathedral and University City with a population of over a million residents. The city is currently working hard in order to meet the Welsh Government target of recycling 70% of all waste by the year 2025. The residents have been provided with the appropriate bins in order to get the process up and running. The target for 2015-2016 was for there to be 58% of all waste being recycled, and then being raised to 64% by 2020. Here at TopSkips, we think recycling the waste that goes in our skips is really important and we try to assure that at least 70% of ours is recycled. We want to assure that the least amount of waste is being sent to landfill as possible. Reusing and recycling materials is much more beneficial for the environment and the economy. It is cheaper than using raw materials and it also saves wildlife’s habitats.

Chepstow is a town in Monmouthshire, Wales, and is located on the River Wye. The Chepstow High Street has won a number of awards, such as the ICE Welsh Regional Roy Edwards Award, for its excellent regeneration designing. It has a new pedestrianised environment which reduced the width of the high street carriageway, widening footpaths and refurbishing three adjoining squares. The town is now to serve as a model town for local regeneration schemes. For large scale jobs like this, TopSkips can provide skips as large as 40 yard RORO’s at the best prices around. Our most popular skip that we hire out are the 8yard builder’s skips, and we have high availability on all of them making jobs much less stressful.
Pontypool is a twenty minute drive, via the A4042, to the centre of Newport. Regeneration has been undertaken throughout the town centre, which includes the refurbishment of properties; improvement of the public realm, such as new signs, surfaces and street furniture; refurbishment of the Indoor Market; and the renovation of the Greyhound Pub. TopSkips have been providing skips to large projects such as this one since 2003. We have high availability on all of our large RORO’s and builder’s skips. If your project isn’t a large commercial job, and maybe you’re just doing domestic work at home, we also have smaller skips such as 4 yards and 6 yards.
This market town in Monmouthshire is home to many markets and fairs, such as the Cattle Market and the Market Hall. In 2013, plans were announced for a £4million regeneration plan for the area. This included building housing and business accommodation, improvements and cosmetic work throughout the town. The main aim of the project was to improve the tourism and make the areas more attractive for the locals. When managing a large construction job, such as this one, it is important that the correct skips are used because, as well as disposing waste and rubble, they are also used to make the site safe for the workers. Here at TopSkips, we work fast and efficiently to assure your skip is delivered to you on time, and therefore your duty of care is always met.
This county town of Monmouthshire is located where the River Monnow meets the River Wye. Because of the location of the town being near a couple of rivers, there are often flood warnings issued. When flooding occurs in a town, the damage stretches from houses to businesses, which is always stressful. The clean and clear up after such disaster can be extensive, and here at TopSkips, we want to help out and make it as hassle free as possible. We have high availability on all of our skips and can get them out to you quickly.
Home to the famous Caldicot Castle and lake, this small town has a population of just 12,000 people and is in the ceremonial county of Gwent. In 2008, plans were announced for an £8million regeneration project that was to take place in order to revamp and bring the retail area back to life. The aim was to bring in a major supermarket chain, to the area, and make the pedestrianised areas, such as the footpaths, better to allow shoppers to move freely from the supermarket to the town centre. When working on a job, like this one, a lot of rubble and debris is accumulated. Sending waste to landfill sites not only damage the environment, but also lead to the rise in landfill taxes. Here at TopSkips, we recycle between 70% and 90% of all the waste that gets put in our skips.
